A BRIEF HISTORY
The RSA was formed in New Zealand in 1916 by returning Anzacs during World War One to provide support and comfort for service men and women and their families.
Swanson RSA take pride in representing our current and ex-service personnel. While honouring the past is an important part of who we are, we’re also focused firmly on the present.
Local RSAs (including Swanson) are managed by their own executive committee. While being united with the RNZRSA in our strategic pillars, vision, and values we have autonomy over how we operate within the community. Whether you are a regular RSA visitor or have never been before we encourage you to come discover what makes Swanson RSA different.

INTO THE FUTURE
Our modern and vibrant Returned Services Club is the largest in West Auckland. Members and visitors can enjoy our newly refurbished clubrooms with three bars, pokies and a sumptuous restaurant.
Swanson RSA members pride themselves in having a strong sporting history and offer numerous clubs which you can join.
We hold regular live entertainment and have a large Function Room for hire which makes an ideal venue for weddings and other celebrations.
All proceeds from the club are returned to the community via employment opportunities, events and support services.
KEEPING IT CLASSY
This is a guide so please check with management if you have any doubts.
These are long standing traditions within the RSA so please don't be offended if you are asked to conform.
